Driver Dagg Faller Regn plot

The story is set in the 18th century in northern Sweden. Marit, the daughter of rich farmer Germund, falls in love with Jon, the son of an old rival of her father's. Germund warns her not to have any contact with Jon. But when Jon saves the girl from a rape one night, they decide to start a relationship. Against her father's resistance, they choose a life together in poverty and deprivation.
