Les Amis plot
Paul is 16 years old and lives in Paris with his mother, who is divorced and has no interest in him. He met Philip, a married and childless wealthy industrialist who is in his forties and does not receive the affection of his wife. Philip and Paul will share together the friendship and understanding they missed. Paul has artistic qualities and Philippe encourages him to do so. While staying in Deauville, Paul befriends Marie-Laure and soon falls in love with her. But for the girl, this guy is just a fun flirt. Paul finds comfort in Philippe. Finally, with the support of the latter, Paul goes to drama school, where he achieves excellent results, until one day Philippe has a serious car accident.
