Forest ranger and former Navy Seal Henry is forced by a drug cartel to help track down a large shipment of drugs missing near the US-Canadian border. In the woods he runs into a man who wants revenge on Henry. As tensions run high, both men will have to fight to escape the forest and defeat the cartel.

This movie looked very pleasant, nice short running time and a Van Damme who visibly enjoys playing the bad guy role. It's predictable, of course, but it's great popcorn entertainment.

I really laughed my ass off at Van Damme's bleached hair. Great, his appearance as a bad guy! I'm not laughing at him, I'm laughing at him! He visibly enjoys his role and comes across as convincing. Quite exciting too, partly because of the beautiful wooded area in which it takes place. I was not bored for a moment.
I've always had a thing for Van Damme and still do. This will always be the case, but pure youth sentiment too. That's why, as the only exception, I never give his films an unsatisfactory mark. I always enjoy watching his movies.
It's a shame this movie has such a low rating. At least a pass is in order. But that's personal.

Revisited again today, I don't remember much of this, hence a revision this time on a nice Blu-ray disc.
Must say he is quite entertaining, beautiful environment / nature and another role for Jean claude, too bad he had to play the bad guy and not the hero.
The story goes that Van Damme with a group of mercenaries are looking for drugs in the forest with a lake, and need the forest ranger to dive for the drugs, but this forest ranger also has someone else after him and later these 2 have to work together to to take out the group of mercenaries, also a small part with a woman and an old man who lives next to him in the cabin.
all in all a good / exciting adventure / action movie, not really new anymore this kind of movies, because there are several of this kind, but fun to watch and something happens from start to finish!
