Mit Afghanistan: Livet i den Forbudte Zone plot

German/Afghan filmmaker Nagieb Khaja travels to Kabul with the aim of documenting the 'real' Afghanistan. With great difficulty he manages to smuggle cameras out of the protected, safe part of the country, where the journalists make one-sided reports in a free part of the country. He has the citizens in the villages film each other, resulting in an image of the country that is raw and heavy, but also poetic and cheerful.
