Big Boy plot

In the 1950s, a few years after Philippine independence, Julio grows up in poverty with five brothers and sisters. Every morning when he gets up, his parents pull on his limbs and he is given a dirty drink to stimulate his growth. His father goes hunting to feed the family. His mother does the housework. To also contribute to the family, Julio sells filled sandwiches. Julio is forced to grow up quickly by difficult circumstances.
