Indeed just a copy of the skeleton key in terms of plot development. Jessabelle is a bit less quality by the way. Thought it was a nice viewing experience, nice to see a movie like this every once in a while. Some good scares, reasonable story build-up. But afterwards it mainly feels that it has been copied, so an insufficient for originality.

The movie- a girl....car accident....lonely.....lonelier....listening tapes....another tape. (Because yes, the film has to fill its time... you would soon get bored of it. and I don't even remember the ending because it wasn't interesting at all and it made no sense.

From a 3* star to a 2* for me.
Watched them immediately as a horror fan when it was released, and was quite impressed by the atmosphere.
Now almost 7 years later it is very disappointing . I had forgotten the story by now .
So I went back into it reasonably fresh.
And then phew. After the accident in the beginning there is a scene with a doctor who is doing some emergency medical procedures , I immediately knew what the plot was , and then the fun is gone right away .
While this was so thick on top . . TOO THICK for me. If you know what the end of fight clup is then you look differently. And yet it remains a classic.
That is definitely not here.
