Nordvest plot
The handy native burglar Casper does commission work for immigrant traders. When he also starts doing odd jobs for native gangsters, the extra earnings also bring big problems. His old client especially doesn't appreciate it when Casper shows off his new status. He then confronts Casper with a life-changing dilemma, in which not even his family is left alone.

Burglar and petty criminal is going to work for another client. The story itself is still going. But the great absentee in this film is the emotion. The film is made very distant. And that's why the film doesn't touch me. The fact that it's finally over will be beyond me. At least I don't have to look any further.

Reasonable crime story which turns out to be quite predictable in many parts. Gangsters, family and dark affairs without really big surprises. The ending, on the other hand, was abrupt and characterizes the ease with which the director tries to make a film.

Solid Danish film about a young man who grows up in a deprived neighborhood in Copenhagen. He supports his mother and brother/sister financially by acting as a courier for an Arab gang through burglaries and the like. Not that the man has signed an employment contract that he cannot get out of, but it turns out that there is no evidence to escape the coercive influences of the gang. When he joins a competing gang, the dolls really start dancing and a mini-war starts with him at the stake.
The film is raw, but at the same time it is also freely accessible. Things are sometimes somewhat obscured, which is less good for credibility in such environments. The film doesn't really stand out, but it still gives an insight into the gang life of a local criminal organization. And as long as you stay there in the neighborhoods, life and your fate are pretty hopeless.
