This is just a really bad movie. I feel like there's no point in trying to explain it. This is just substandard on all fronts.

Messy horror film with an enthusiastic director behind the camera, but also a very substandard script. When it comes to bloodshed, Cradle of Fear delivers double and thick, because despite the micro budget there are a number of dirty and uncomfortable images in this film. The cast members also do everything they can to involve some emotion in the whole, but most members have a chronic lack of acting talent. Dani Filth in particular, aka "The Man", delivers a sad farce as a murderer who is apparently meant to come across as very intimidating. Director Alex Chandon sometimes chooses to show actual beheadings and porn, which betrays that the makers were often looking for "edgy content" and not so much for quality. For lovers of graphic violence a must, otherwise it is all mainly a total production chaos.
