A Warning to the Curious plot
The unemployed Mr. Paxton is looking for a crown from the Middle Ages. According to an old legend, this one is buried in the woods somewhere in the vicinity of Seaburgh, a village on the coast. However, previous treasure hunters in Seaburgh had a bad run and he is oblivious to the impending doom hanging over his head.
