San Zimei plot

Three sisters live together in their family home in Yunnan province. Their parents are nowhere to be found. When these girls are not working in the fields, they spend their time wandering around the village. When their aunt struggles to provide food, their father returns to the village. He plans to take the girls into town with him, but then agrees to leave the eldest behind under her grandfather's supervision.
