A reasonable film from Brazil.
Despite the low budget, this one is for the real fans. The so-called Chupacabras is a kind of monstrous vampire. The acting performances are also reasonable.
Fun to watch once, but far from a top film.

Fairly brackish Latin American horror with the legend of the Chupacabra as its central theme. This is a folklore creature that literally means goat sucker, but in films it also dares to stray to human blood. Well, central, it is more of a subplot, because the film mainly revolves around two rival family clans that are after each other's lives.
Quite amateurishly put together. The editing and transition between different scenes does not look very professional and the acting is not something to write home about. Many negative points on a technical level. They try to boost that with some gore and 'smashing pumpkins', but that does not save the film at all.
Could also be classified as action horror given the frequent violence and mutual shootings. Weak as a whole.
