Attacchi Gemelli - Una Mattina di Dicembre plot

On December 27, 1985, two teams, totaling eight Palestinian terrorists, attempted to hijack two planes belonging to the Israeli airline company El Al. One in Rome and one in Vienna. In both airports there was a confrontation with the security services. A total of 19 civilians and three terrorists were killed and more than 100 injured. The Palestinians were on a suicide mission to blow up both planes over Tel Aviv. With archive footage, testimonies from victims and researchers and an interview with the only living perpetrator of the attack in Rome.
