All the Brothers Were Valiant plot
Mark Shore is a whaling ship captain. He looks down on his younger brother Joel Shore, who has never sailed before. But when Mark's ship arrives in port without its captain, Joel takes command. Joel's new bride Priscilla Holt insists on sailing and they head for the Pacific Ocean where Mark was last seen. Inexperienced by the crew, Joel mocks him, but Joel proves that he is ultimately a capable and manly sailor. Joel finds Mark not far from where he went missing. When Mark sees how well Joel has done, however, he becomes jealous. Mark starts a mutiny when Joel refuses to change course to search for treasure.
