Jiokhwa plot

Ji-wol, a Buddhist monk, is expelled from his order after having an inappropriate affair with a female fellow believer. On his way home he meets Yeon-soo drinking lonely in a bar. In a fit of madness by newly discovered desires, he rapes and murders Yeon-soo. After his actions, out of guilt, he decides to take Yeon-soo's ashes to her family who lives in the Philippines. Once there, he meets Yeon-soo's twin sister Yeon-hwa and falls in love with her.
