The story of Oscar Wilde is moved to World War II in this film. 300 years ago, a British aristocrat turned out to be a coward during the war. When he returned home, his father had him bricked alive behind a wall as punishment for his cowardice. He must wander as a ghost until one of his relatives performs a most courageous act. During the Second World War, a group of American soldiers is stationed in the castle and of course one of the men is a relative of the aristocrat.
