Cinemania plot

"Reel obsession"

Documentary about five very eccentric film addicts. On the basis of tight schedules, they scour all of New York's cinemas to see as many films as possible; really everything has to make way for it. Some are worse than others, but they all devote their lives to the celluloid. Weddings and funerals have to give way to Bertolucci and B-movies. Forced by the large selection of films in New York, they work with tight schedules and strict selection criteria. 'Cinemanie' also entails a special diet: running between two theaters, a hamburger or ice cream is quickly finished.
