"This season, love takes center stage"
Vera Parks, an intense and demanding Broadway director, is fired from every job, leaving her with no choice but to direct the performance of a Christmas play in a small town in upstate New York. Stunned at how fundamental and basic the production is, Vera tries to withdraw. However, she is convinced by some locals to give their town a chance. To her own surprise, Vera's warmth and charm of the small town grows and she even enjoys directing the scene. But when Vera learns that her former fiancé Jack has recommended her for the job, she becomes furious...
