Kaibyô Otama-ga-ike plot

A couple soon to get married get lost in the woods near the Otamo pond. Exhausted, they arrive at nightfall and the onset of an impending thunderstorm at an apparently abandoned old house in the forest. They do not know that a curse hangs over the house. What dark secret are the black cat they saw and the mysterious old woman they meet next?
