Accidentally in Love plot
Eddie Avedon's chance to land a big movie role, the way out of his role as Mulligan the Rabbit on a children's TV show, is ruined after a car accident with single mother Annie Benchley. The part is given to Eddie's lousy roommate Scott Dunbar. This continues to haunt him. But Eddie befriends Annie and her young daughter, who is a true Mulligan fan. When Eddie finds out that Annie's daughter has a disease that will leave her blind within a year, he sticks his neck out to arrange surgery.
