Lang Lang, the Art of Being a Virtuoso plot
Not many child stars stay at the top once they grow up. Pianist Lang Lang does. Driven by his love for classical music and his dream to make it accessible to a large audience, he flies around the world in his private jet, dressed in the latest fashion. In the documentary 'Lang Lang, The Art of Being a Virtuoso' we see him traveling between Milan, Berlin and China in the company of his mother, giving concerts, building a music center and making school children enthusiastic about Liszt. Although Lang Lang has just turned thirty, time seems to be on his tail. Impatient, he does everything he can to achieve his towering ambitions. In 2008 he played at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics and in 2009 he was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. He has inspired more than 40 million Chinese children to learn to play the piano and his mission is far from being accomplished.
