Bevrijdingskinderen plot

In this documentary, we go in search of family, tangible memories, photos and stories with four liberation children that are part of their unresolved past. For example, Lia travels to her Polish family for the first time and visits her father's grave. Joke reads from the beautiful love letters that her Canadian father wrote to her mother. Ton talks about the emotional encounter with his father in Australia, a memory he cherishes. And Klaas starts a search for his father and tries to answer questions that were not allowed to be asked.
