On the Bowery plot
Documentary with partly scripted scenes about The Bowery, a street and small slum in Manhattan, New York. Against the background of boozing guys in bars, we follow Ray, a somewhat more ambitious young man than the rest. He arrived in Manhattan with little money and one suitcase. The next day he was drunk and had lost his suitcase. We follow Ray over the next few days and see if he can escape this pool of despair.
