Lösegeld plot

Nina Hansen is threatened with a knife in the woods by a stranger. She manages to escape and hits him with her car, causing him serious injuries. She finds a bag of diamonds, probably from a previous kidnapping case. She reports the threat to the police, but keeps the diamonds for herself. The culprit quickly goes after her again.

During an evening walk with her dog, Nina [Ulrike C. Tscharre] is attacked by a man [Andreas Leupold] who has just cashed in a bag of diamonds in exchange for a boy he had kidnapped. After the man shoots her dog, Nina escapes by running him over. Later (don't ask why) she finds the diamonds in her car. After some hesitation, Nina decides to report the incident to the police and thus comes into contact with Lysewski [Misel Maticevic] who was involved in the delivery of the ransom and is under pressure to track down the perpetrator and the ransom. Colleague Weber [Simon Lïcht] smells a rat. Far-fetched, not entirely successful attempt at a modern film noir keeps up the pace just enough to make it worth a watch.
