Victor Grandison hosts a popular radio program about unsolved murder cases. After the suicide of his secretary, a stranger shows up who claims to be the husband of his pupil Matilda, heiress to a million dollar sum. He accuses Grandison of participating in a sophisticated murder plot and thus sets in motion a series of dramatic events.
