Farce about a love triangle on a desert island, between a married couple and a single man. Who actually loves whom, and which man is the best man for the child woman in the leading role? The married gentleman cleverly solves the dilemma by letting his wife move into her lover's hut. She also sees what his shortcomings are. Wonderfully British humor with brilliant dialogue. A bit too much studio work due to the very fake sets.

I had a pretty bad version of this movie, which made it unpleasant to watch.
The story is also so bland at times that even the wonderful appearance of Ava Gardner doesn't bring much improvement.
Niven's character is also such an over-the-top slacker that it also causes irritation.
