Historical drama about the battle of Vienna, on September 11 and 12, 1683, when the city was besieged by three hundred thousand Muslim soldiers of the Ottoman Empire, led by Karà Mustafà. Their goal is to create an opening to invade Europe, to reach Rome and to turn the San Pietro Cathedral, at the heart of Christianity, into a mosque. Within the walls of Vienna, the Austrians, who are vastly outnumbered, brace themselves for a terrible defeat.
