Nana plot

Nana is a four-year-old girl who lives in the French countryside. When she comes home one day, she finds an empty house. There is no explanation of her mother's disappearance, so that the viewer gets just as little of the adult world as the little girl, who goes her own way. She appears to be able to survive just fine. She dresses herself, goes into the woods, jumps over a ditch, eats a sandwich. The dandelions and the moss are like one great wondrous adventure to her, but she also doesn't close her eyes to a dead hare and a slaughtered pig.
