Guanggun plot

Portrait of a group of unemployed and mostly lonely men, who stayed behind when their wives moved to the city in search of work. In Heilongjiang Province they were employed in the timber industry, but deforestation has taken its toll. For example, there is 46-year-old San Liangzi. Twelve years ago he divorced his wife and became unemployed. For ten years he has had a crush on Wang Meizi, the only single woman around. But the love is not mutual.
