A devout 19-year-old sophomore at Texas Junior College impulsively decides to trade his evangelical upbringing for a life in the Pacific Northwest. He leaves for one of the most progressive campuses in America, Reed College in Portland. Upon his arrival, the environment and the eccentric students turn out to be very different than he could ever imagine. This marks the beginning of a journey of self-discovery for him to understand who he is and what he really believes in.
