Achterland - De Weg Terug naar Cuey Machar plot

Kon Kelei came to the Netherlands 12 years ago as a refugee child soldier from South Sudan. And he turned out to be a fighter: after a long procedure he was granted asylum, went to study, became an actor and together with Marco Borsato spokesperson for the organization War Child. Now Kon is at a crossroads in his life: is he going back to South Sudan to help build the new nation as a lawyer? Or will he stay in the west, where he has started to feel more and more at home?
