Girigiri no Onnatachi plot

In the summer after the Tohoku earthquake and subsequent tsunami, three estranged sisters gather at their home in Kesennuma for an uneasy reunion. The eldest, a butoh dancer, returns from a failed trip to New York. Yuko, the middle sister, left her husband and son to attend, but her vagueness about the two family members left behind suggests a different story. The youngest sister was left behind after the death of father to look after the house. Old wounds are in danger of being reopened, but that is nothing compared to the devastation outside the home.
