California Solo plot

Lachlan MacAldonich is a lazy Scotsman and former guitarist for a once popular 1990s rock band. No longer famous, he lives a modest existence on an organic farm outside Los Angeles. Every night he drinks himself a lot and retires to his shabby apartment. One night he is arrested for drunk driving. This crime, along with a previous drug offense conviction, may see him deported from the country. His only hope of avoiding this is by proving that his absence is causing major problems for a spouse or relative. This forces him to confront relationships he thought were long overdue.
