The Sheik and I plot

"Lights, Camera, Fatwa!"

Director Caveh Zahedi is invited to a Middle Eastern art manifestation to make a film with the theme 'Art as a subversive element'. He is told that he can do whatever he wants, except ridicule the sheik who rules the country in question and finances the event. Zahedi indulges himself and decides to do just the latter. He points the camera at the event and presses every culturally sensitive button he can find. But his role as court jester is not appreciated and his film is banned and he himself faces a fatwa.
