Kelebegin Rüyasi plot
Turkey 1941. While the male inhabitants of Zonguldak on the Black Sea between the ages of 15 and 65 are forced to work in the coal mines, the young writers Muzaffer and Rüştü try to get their poems published in a literary magazine, encouraged by their teacher. Both are exempt from working in the mines because they are affected by tuberculosis. One day they witness the arrival in the town of the beautiful Susan. She likes a little more adventure in her civil life, but her father forbids her to have contact with the boys for fear of contamination. The two friends make a bet on who can write the beautiful poem for Susan. When Rüştü's health continues to deteriorate, he is admitted to a remote sanatorium.
