Seattle Superstorm plot

When an unidentified object is shot down over the waters of the Pacific Northwest, the sky appears darker with what appears to be the smoke billowing from the wreckage. Mayor Emma Peterson is tasked with identifying the threat and securing the city, while her fiancé, scientist Tom Reynolds, keeps an eye on their two teenage children. However, the scientist in him cannot ignore the strange phenomena and sends the children home, unaware that he is endangering them. Now the family will have to find each other in the chaos and try to end the storm before it destroys the entire planet.
