The Fight for Life plot

Young doctor O'Donnell (Myron McCormick) witnesses the death of a young mother in the delivery room of a maternity hospital. Concerned that he might have overlooked something that could have prevented her death, he goes to study at a maternity hospital in the suburbs of the city. He hopes to be able to learn more about 'maternity death' and discover new ways to prevent it.
