The New Adventures of Pinocchio plot
Years ago, Gepetto, a poor and lonely doll maker, had carved his initials and those of his beloved Leona into a tree trunk. Leona never returned Gepetto's love. Today, years later, Gepetto decides to use the tree trunk to create his masterpiece: Pinocchio. One evening, while Gepetto is taking a well-deserved bath, Pinocchio is brought back to life! In no time, Pinocchio discovers life, its creator, the animals... the world! But like all children, Pinocchio underestimates the dangers of the world. One evening, Gepetto takes the wooden boy to a puppet show and attracts the attention of the terrible director Lorenzini, who begs Gepetto to sell him Pinocchio. Gepetto refuses and Lorenzini sends his two odious helpers Felinet and Volpe to kidnap Pinocchio...
