Silverlake Life: The View from Here plot

The tragic account, in the form of a video news, of how filmmaker Tom Joslin lost the battle against the devastating disease AIDS. When it was determined that Joslin and his lover Mark Massi, with whom he had been together for 22 years, both had AIDS, Joslin decided to videotape the process. Peter Friedman, a former student and friend of Joslin, was asked to complete the video news just as Joslin himself would become too weak for it. The film covers the period from the diagnosis to the death of both men.
