Paradiso plot

Documentary in honor of the 40th anniversary of Paradiso, one of the world's most famous pop venues, located right in the heart of Amsterdam. The film shows Paradiso through the years with exclusive images, music of historical value and interviews with (contemporary) musicians and visitors, who all together make Paradiso the legend it is today. The documentary also shows the dynamics between musicians and the audience, their dreams, lost illusions, hopes and fears, moments of victory and humiliation of those who choose to take the stage. What drives people to climb onto the podium, what prevents them from doing so? The film allows this deeper and philosophical element to run through the film as an important guideline.
