The Night Watch plot

"Love and liberation in wartime"

London, 1947. The troubled Kay (Anna Maxwell Martin) roams the streets of London, tormented by a personal loss. Helen (Claire Foy) and Viv (Jodie Whittaker) run an agency to reunite lovers who lost each other in the war. However, Helen has a turbulent relationship with another woman, while Viv has an affair with a married man that she can't get rid of. Viv's younger brother Duncan (Harry Treadaway) runs into someone from his past and must confess a terrible secret that puts his life in danger.
