Upside Down: The Creation Records Story plot

"The story of ’The most Rock ‘n’ Roll label ever’"

Documentary about the famous Creation Records label, more than a decade after the label was dissolved. Founded over a quarter of a century ago, the label was one of the most successful and colorful independent music labels. A story about a rock 'n roll dream and its nightmares. Millions of albums were sold worldwide, but the label also almost went bankrupt. Drugs, fights, successes, excesses, hangovers, nervous breakdowns and of course much of the music of the roaring 20th century. The extravagant label was responsible for the breakthrough of Oasis debut album 'What's the Story Morning Glory'.

Entertaining, smoothly put together documentary about Creation Records, one of the most successful and colorful independent British record labels ever. Given my limited knowledge of Britpop, many of the bands featured mean little to nothing to me, but the stories told are highly entertaining and often hilarious. Lots of interesting archival material too.
