Evil Things plot

"They Were Never Seen Again...Until Now."

Student Miriam receives a wonderful birthday present from her aunt: the use of his large country house for a whole weekend. The house is located in the middle of the woods and mountains, far away from the busy life in Manhattan, New York. She invites four friends who obviously don't miss the chance to take a break. Leo, one of her friends, is an avid amateur filmmaker and takes the opportunity to capture the outing on video. However, the weekend goes very differently than planned and what Leo eventually films is not peace and freedom, but panic and fear...

A poorly developed horror thriller presents itself as a documented police tape, but then we, as viewers, see various perspectives from the threat. Case solved. Evil Things also uses an excessive amount of creepy music, especially in the second half, giving the film a edited feel and thus losing much of its charm. Fortunately, the acting is quite decent, the bickering between the friends is more than entertaining, and the mystery is kept alive well. So, this isn't high-quality or well-thought-out cinema, but in terms of entertainment, it does what it's supposed to. Downsides include the complete absence of logic, which is undeniable even with a disabled mind.
