"Sun, Sea and Squeaks."
Lvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes take a cruise, and as usual they turn the luxury cruise ship into their own playground. Until they are 'shipwrecked' and end up on a tropical island. While Dave Seville searches for his missing stars, the Munks and the Chipettes do what they do best: sing, dance and make a mess. But there is also a castaway on the island, who is no less than Alvin and the Chipmunks. Together with their new boyfriend, they go on a crazy adventure, full of surprises and wise life lessons.

Reasonable animation film. Still I only like the first Alvin and the Chipmunks. But this one is just about passable.

The Chipmunks and The Chipettes are on a boat to the International Music Awards, and three writers come up with a stupid way to strand the singing squirrels on an island with Zoe [Jenny Slate] who has been waiting there for help for nine years. Manager and adoptive father Dave [Jason Lee] and former manager Ian [David Cross] suffer much the same fate in this madcap comedy full of lame and far-fetched jokes. Lee and Cross resign themselves to their humiliating roles. The covers sung by the Chipmunks and Chipettes may bring a modest smile, but that's all you can expect.
