The Nightmare Man plot

A remote Scottish island is shrouded in mist for several days when a maniac or some sort of monster begins to spread terror. People are being brutally murdered. Their limbs are torn off. A local dentist wants to investigate but is puzzled when he finds the mutilated bodies. The police are also frantically searching for the culprit. There is speculation about a monster emerging from the sea or an alien creature.
