Koniec Rosji plot

Alexei, 19, is airlifted to an army post in the far north of Russia, on the edge of the Arctic Ocean. He is taken care of and trained by five veterans who have been staying there for a long time. Maybe too long. Each of them has his own story and his personal secret about why he came to live here almost literally at the end of the world. They cannot imagine ever returning to normal society. They find it better or easier to stay in their white snow wasteland, hundreds of kilometers from the closest settlement. With a heavy hand but also with a great sense of humor, they teach Alexei how to survive in these icy conditions. In the meantime, he also learns some important life lessons.
