Eigen Volk plot

A family chronicle by Neske Beks, in which we follow the history of the Flemish-African working-class family of the documentary maker. In the 1970s they were idealistic, multicultural and cosmopolitan, but three decades later half of the family votes for the right-wing extremist party Vlaams Belang. What happens when you find out as a black woman? A musical documentary with a voice-over in song and 'spoken word'.
