The Defiled plot

"Technology will backfire"

In a post-apocalyptic world largely permanently destroyed and in which everyone is suffering from a virus, science and technology have run out and the end of the world seems to be in sight. The virus has controlled almost all of humanity, transforming them into mindless cannibals. One of the infected bears the burden of allowing his son to survive.
