The Curse of Doctor Wolffenstein plot
Doctor Victor Wolffenstein wants to make himself immortal and through experiments he makes an immortality potion. Unfortunately, this drug causes his body to rot. Some eighty years later, a group of teenagers with car trouble arrives in his village. dr. Wolffenstein then tries to find a good serum by making victims and to find a solution for his putrefaction problem.

Too long. Particularly a pity because Rohnstock (whose signature appears beautifully on the slip cover of my Blu-ray edition... that will make some money 
) doesn't have much more to say than his German splatter colleagues. With Necronos (2010) (not yet seen) he also turns it into a two-hour party. Completely unnecessary, because all the relevant gore moments can easily be packed into 70 minutes and the story doesn't have to suffer as a result. In this way, Victor Wolffenstein's tricks become interesting for a very select group, where Ittenbach, among others, managed to find a broader audience. All in all, fun low budget crap, where a little more variation in the kills and an extra session with the blunt ax chopping (this time as in: editing) would have been very welcome.

Delicious German Splatter Flick!
This could easily have been an Ittenbach film. (Olaf's gore is a bit gore hehe)
The film is long, but for me this is not a drawback because I really enjoy this kind of acting and conversations in combination with the German language! The gore isn't bad either! An overload of "machete -> head" kills without too much variation, but this also broke my heart hehe.
The story is absurd and simple... as it should be with these types of films!
Also hints of fetish porn here and there! Eggs in a vagina through a tube and that kind of wonderful nonsense hehe... everything to see! No prudish fuss! 
But quickly check out more films by Marc Rohnstock! Happily surprised!
