Cooking has become art at the world famous Spanish star restaurant El Bulli. The doors are only open six months a year, the rest of the time a select team of experts is working hard on a new avant-garde 30-course menu. From the sidelines we watch how people experiment with structure, with sound, with color and ultimately also with taste. Cooking with liquid nitrogen, for which the restaurant is best known, turns out to be just one of many unconventional preparation methods. Owner Ferran Adrià tastes everything that is designed in the taste laboratory.
