Miyamoto Musashi plot
Takezo leaves their home village with his best friend Matahachi to join the army, which is just about to enter an important battle. However, the army loses the battle, forcing the two to flee. They find shelter with the widow Oko, who seduces Matahachi, despite the fact that he was already betrothed to Otsu. They leave for Kyoto together, while Takezo returns to his village, where his story is not believed and he is charged with high treason.
